Various regional festivals are celebrated on campus. The students have also formed various activity clubs to pursue their creative interest.

Nishitha College of Engineering and Technology, has organized a one day National level paper Technical symposium "Nishitha Netscape 10" for the students of different Engineering and Management students. Apart from the paper presentation in ECE, CSE, EEE and MBA departments we have also introduced events like Robotics and computer games. The main aim of the paper contest was to create awareness of latest happenings in engineering and science subjects. The contest was also aimed to create industry and academic calibration to share the ideology of young, talented and dynamic engineering students. With this approach in the minds of the top personalities of the institution we have been successful in attracting nearly 500 participants for this national level event. We have received nearly 350 papers in different disciplines of engineering. Students from nearly 65 engineering colleges have participated in this contest. Judges from J.N.T.U have presided over the contest to select the best oral paper presentation in each discipline and to honor them in the form of cash awards.

The College Organizes staff improvement programmes and inter Engineering collegiate competitions. In this connection a seminar was organized on Nano Technology which was addressed by eminent scientists from Defense Labs, University of Hyderabad(HCU) and Osmania University. A workshop on VLSI Design was organized for the students.
